Maria and Adam were one of the many couples whose original wedding plans were impacted by COVID. Their original photographer was booked on their new date, so they came to me and I am so glad they did. They were what I call an ideal couple. In the midst of the COVID craziness, Maria and Adam couldn't have been more laid back and fun. In a time when they could have been full of stress and worry, they were filled with love and joy. The wedding took place in Fowler, Indiana at the Sacred Heart Catholic church where my grandparents got married in 1946. Maria previously taught at Sacred Heart School where her and Adam got ready for their big day. My dad, aunts and uncles all attended Sacred Heart School as kids. It was a pretty special location to me which made this day even more memorable and fun. To add to the sentimental feelings of this day, since Maria and Adam are both Purdue grads (Boiler up!) we did the majority of their photos at Purdue. Maria and Adam even got pictures inside and outside of Harry's Chocolate Shop, my favorite place. The wedding party hopped on their party bus and headed to the reception at the beautiful New Journey Farms. The night was a party full of dancing and celebrating this sweet couple. It was very clear that the Kissel's are so loved. They were surrounded by so many family and friends who couldn't have been happier and more excited to celebrate them. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from this special day. Congrats Maria and Adam!
Mariah & Justin
Everyone says there's no such thing as a perfect wedding day, especially when it comes to the timeline. I have to say, Mariah and Justin's wedding day was pretty darn close to perfect. The morning of the wedding was rainy and storms were expected all day long. I was so nervous we'd have a nasty day and all the photos would have to be inside. I showed up prepared with my clear umbrellas and rain jacket for my camera. Mariah was so nervous her wedding would have to be moved inside and nothing would go as planned. We even shut the curtains in the bridal suite so she couldn't see how gloomy it was that morning. We were all fully prepared to change the whole direction of the day when the sun came out and the clouds went away. The weather cleared off just for these two. It ended up being everything they dreamed of and more. The timeline went exactly as planned. We were actually ahead of schedule which is unheard of! We had the perfect weather and time to make some amazing photos. I am so glad Mariah and Justin asked us to capture their day. We loved witnessing and capturing the love between these two sweet people. Enjoy some photos from probably the smoothest wedding day we will ever have!
Jourdan & Bradey

Jourdan and Bradey's wedding was our first wedding of the year. for 2020. It was a perfect wedding to start the season off with! The wedding took place at Arborwood in Frankfort, IN. The venue was perfect for this beautiful and intimate summer wedding. Jourdan was all about the boho vibes for her wedding day and had the cutest decor from the rugs to the macrame wall hangings. It was perfect that she was the first bride to sit in my peacock chair! The Metzger wedding was equipped with live music from Wyatt Hare, desserts from Richelle In A Handbasket, a touching first look with dad and groom and some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen! One of my favorite parts about this day was the sweet relationship between Jourdan and her parents. Watching Jourdan and her parents dance away on the dance floor was so heart warming and fun to capture. I am honored that Jourdan and Bradey chose me to do their engagement photos and capture their special day. Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding!
